REPORT ON VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK (VAW) - 2023

The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week is undertaken to encourage all countrymen to collectively participate in the prevention of, and the fight against corruption, and to raise public awareness regarding the existence, causes, gravity, and threat posed by corruption. In pursuit of the vision of the Government of India, D.A.V. Public School, Kurali, observed 'Vigilance Awareness Week-2023' from 30.10.2023 to 05.11.2023 on the theme 'Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation'.

As part of the program and to help students understand the value of integrity, many activities were conducted throughout the week. Traditionally, during the morning assembly, students took the integrity pledge through online mode. Students from Grade X to XII participated in various activities such as the School Principal delivering a lecture, students giving speeches, and participating in debates and discussions where they expressed their views and suggestions to put an end to existing corruption. The students also actively participated in activities like poster making, slogan writing, and essay writing.

This array of activities evoked a lot of interest from the students, and thus the objective of the event, which was to inculcate awareness of vigilance in public life and make the students honest and responsible citizens who are now geared up to combat the menace of corruption, was achieved.
